Editor’s Note: I was surfing around the internet one day recently and came across my name in a list for a project I did years ago. It was a summer job while in grad school. I ingested digital video that some nurses took of interviews with diabetes patients for the Appalachian Diabetes Project. The director of the project also asked me to write a report for her on my recommendations for the website she hoped one day to have designed. She also wanted me to design it. Since I never heard back from her after the project, I forgot all about it, but she did eventually have the site created and she not only followed my recommendations, she used my designs as the basis for their final design.
