Chris is a book author and he had a new book coming out, so he wanted to update the site to get a new design and add the book that was launching. We used a template and I customized it for him and switched it over to WordPress. I did the photo work for him and helped edit the site as well as designed the site. This site launched in Sept., 2013.
I briefly did some work for a startup in Columbus called Brand Thunder. They design customized browsers. I remember I used to download and install browser themes (or skins as we called them back then) in 1999-’00. It’s an interesting business model. The Bing search engine is built into the browser. Right now they design for Internet Explorer, Firefox and soon Chrome. I’m mostly doing generic browsers and anything else little that they need done.
I started working as a Systems Editor in the NewsIT Department in Sept. 1999. I worked as a CCI SuperUser and a Macintosh Specialist on the Help Desk. I ended up being the top Macintosh expert in the whole building, the go-to person for all Macintosh issues. I set up networking protocol when we went wireless, I set best practices and I was the main troubleshooter for photo and graphics issues on deadline.
Welcome to my portfolio. I am always updating the site with more of my work, so keep checking back, as the site changes all the time!
As you will see, my work includes copyediting, design, photo editing, web design, E-mail design & coding, multimedia, coding, development, UX & UI and even app design. I believe my experience, knowledge, and interest give me a unique perspective on visual communication and I can usually adapt and handle whatever job you need quickly and easily.
