Red Badge Consulting Website

This company wanted to keep his site design, but there were issues with the site, so we switched it over to a WordPress site and added blogging. I used JavaScript and PHP to setup the interactivity. As with most of my sites, I design it and set it up and then I release it to the client and no longer have anything to do with the site.

PhotoShop Restoration Before & After Gallery

This is a series of Before and After pics from Image Restoration work that I have done over the years. When an image becomes a sepia color, it means it has aged, so when restoring images, I switch it back to the original B&W, unless the client desires the image to be Sepia toned. The Interface is a manual slider, so you can see and compare the before-and-after images.

Gigi’s Shelter for Dogs

This was a contract to fix problems with the website that was started by another designer. I redid the design and fixed several issues. The contract was through Robert Half. They have redesigned the site recently.

Biggs Estates

This website was a consulting job for a rental company in Lancaster, OH. I had to code specialized forms and organize their info and sliders (galleries).

Carlton National Website

This website was for a contracting company in Boston specializing in placing people for Medical Device and Software and Hardware Engineering positions.  I had to recreate the logo because the version they had was low-res and very poor quality. Then I redesigned the site for them with a responsive design. I also edited and wrote some of the content.

Adjunct Professor @ OU

I taught a WordPress class Spring Semester 2017 for the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University in Athens, OH. The class basically took all the skills they had learned previously and merged them into a class using WordPress. Most had never used WordPress or Hosting Accounts and domains before, so it was a little bit of everything.

WordCamp Cincinnati Speaker

I did this ’10 WordPress Design Hacks for Graphic Designers’ presentation for WordCamp Cincinnati 2016. I always try to do something less techie and more design related at these sessions because most of the other sessions are so technical.

Reckless Tarragon Website

I designed this food blog site for a friend of mine who wanted to switch her blog from a Blogger site to WordPress. She wanted to have a site that was more professional and had more social media and sharing features built in. I designed her logo, bought her domain and set up her hosting account.

The Wasserstrom Company Digital & Print Design

I designed, set up and managed the company’s bi-weekly HTML email marketing campaign (sometimes more than bi-weekly). I designed e-mails in PhotoShop and after final approval, I sliced them up to transfer and code for ExactTarget Email Marketing tool for scheduling and management.

Ohio Wesleyan University Website

I worked at OWU for three months as they geared up for their redesign. We worked with FastSpot and their content management system was called BigTree. I helped organize the new site and their content as we transferred as much content from the old site over to the new site.

Molly Lowe

I designed this site in WordPress for a client. She designed everything herself, but I had to code it up and set up the domain and hosting account. She has since let it lapse and it is not live anymore. But we are now working to bring it back,

Lifelines Website

I won a bid to build a website for the University of Maryland School of Social Work. I helped organize the stories and reporters hired to do stories on Social Work for the site. The project was part of a special grant. I used JavaScript and PHP to setup the interactivity. As with most of my sites, I design it and set it up and then I release it to the client and no longer have anything to do with the site. I did purchase the domains for them and set up their hosting account. I organized the content with the help of the client.
