This website was for a contracting company in Boston specializing in placing people for Medical Device and Software and Hardware Engineering positions. I had to recreate the logo because the version they had was low-res and very poor quality. Then I redesigned the site for them with a responsive design. I also edited and wrote some of the content.
I managed and coordinated the design, editing, coding and execution of automated email messages for brand partners’ cardmembers, adhering to CAN-SPAM requirements and email best practices.
I won a bid to build a website for the University of Maryland School of Social Work. I helped organize the stories and reporters hired to do stories on Social Work for the site. The project was part of a special grant. I used JavaScript and PHP to setup the interactivity. As with most of my sites, I design it and set it up and then I release it to the client and no longer have anything to do with the site. I did purchase the domains for them and set up their hosting account. I organized the content with the help of the client.
I worked on the Design Desk at The Columbus Dispatch on a one-year contract during their redesign. I designed features pages, inside news, the TV tab, the Business section and the Metro section. After the contract ended, I returned about 6 months later for another 6-month stint.
Design, set up and manage weekly Lucky Brand Jeans HTML-email marketing campaign. Take client-provided PSDs and slice them up to transfer and code for Exact Target Email Marketing tool for scheduling and management. Also manage a variety of other misc. digital projects for company, as well as design and prepare graphics and 2 web sites for their iPhone/Android App the company was test marketing, called SmartPing.com.

I have been cleaning out files in order to unearth all the right versions of my old work and I found a logo I created for a Blues Bash from 2005. I took the artwork from an old poster of the event and pieced together a logo for a sign. All the work was done in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop. I thought it would be a good example of what I can do.
